Terms & Conditions

1. Emergency Veterinary Care:  In the event that it is necessary, I authorize PawStar Pet Care to obtain any emergency veterinary care that may be necessary during the time spent with my pet. I accept responsibility for any charges related to this emergency care. I also authorize PawStar Pet Care to utilize an alternative veterinarian in the event my regular veterinarian is unavailable. I acknowledge that every effort will be made to contact me the owner or the nominated Emergency Contact prior to obtaining emergency care.  
2. Security or loss on the Premises: PawStar Pet Care accepts no responsibility for security of the premises or loss, especially if other individuals have access to the home during the term of this agreement. Pet care will be performed by a member of the PawStar Pet Care Team. You will be notified ahead of time who this individual will be and if there are any changes. 
3. Provision of Services Stated, Waiving Claims: PawStar Pet Care agrees to provide the services stated in this agreement in a professional, reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against PawStar Pet Care. Client agrees to notify PawStar Pet Care of any concerns within 24 hours. 
4. Medial Expenses, Damages and Injuries: The client will be responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to the dog walker or other persons by the pet. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless PawStar Pet Care in the event of a claim by any person injured by the pet. 
5. Damage to Client Property or Other Properties: It is expressly understood that PawStar Pet Care shall not be held responsible for any damage to client’s property, or that of others, caused by client’s pets during the period in which they are in there care. Client has advised PawStar Pet Care of all situations, which will relieve them of liability for damage. 
6. Loss, escape, injury, illness or any kind of death: PawStar Pet Care will take every recaustion to ensure your pet is happy and safe whilst in our care, however we will not accept responsibility for, loss/escapes, injuries, illness or any kind of death. 
7. Right of Refusal: PawStar Pet Care reserves the right to refuse any animal with no reason given.
8. Ownership of the Pet: The client specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the pet (s).
9. Payment Terms and Conditions:  
 a) All service payments and charges are due and payable on or before the day of the scheduled service in cash, cheque, money order or Direct Debit.  
 b) A deposit is required for Pet Minding Service Bookings as set by PawStar Pet Care and is payable for each pet booked for the Minding Service.  If the service is booked for 1 week or more the service must be paid for in full at the time of booking.  If the service is booked for less than 1 week a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.  The remaining amount will be payable by the due date mentioned clearly on invoice (not exceeding 7 days)
 c) The Customer shall pay late payment charges on overdue accounts of $5.00. We may suspend all or part of your service (s) pending payment of all outstanding amounts including interest and to adjust the price you pay for the Service (s).
 d) You will be liable for all reasonable collection costs (including legal fees if necessary) to collect the amount outstanding and owed to PawStar Pet Care.
 e) PawStar Multi-Walk Pass are non refundable or transferable.  However, we may do so, at our absolute discretion, in exceptional circumstances.
 f) Cancellation of Service:  I accept responsibility and will provide advance notification to PawStar Pet Care of not less than 24 hours of any cancellations or changes to the service.  If this notification is not provided prior to 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, I accept that I will be required to pay for the service booked in full or part there of (as negotiated with PawStar Pet Care).
 g) All your personal and billing information that is identifiable to your will be kept confidential.  PawStar Pet Care will not disclose that information (in a way that makes the information identifiable to you) to anyone else without your consent
 h) Services are provided and priced for the Western Suburbs of Adelaide. Pricing set is for a 10 km radius from Henley Beach. Extra charges will apply for longer distances exceeding the 10km radius.
 i) Discount packages may be available for extended services and at the sole discretion of PawStar Pet Care.
