In Memory of

Ted our Blue Heeler X Dog, recently passed after being a huge part of our life and family for the past 13 years. He is not only missed by us, our family and friends, but by his long time companion Marley our Staffie X.

He loved to take holidays and play with the ball at the beach as well as catch the waves in the sea.
Ted was a loyal, loving and often funny dog, who’s quirky nature made us laugh time and time again. He was full of character, curiosity and energy to the very end and we miss him greeting us at the door every night. He was really our best mate!

Ted, our dog, unfortunately lost a battle with various ‘old age’ health problems towards the end and is now keeping company with our other adored and missed Scratch a Highland Terrier X, who passed in 2005.

Scratchy came to us as a stray at the age of 2 years. He was a quiet, loyal and loving dog, who was always by our side. We would start every day together and he would be waiting at the door for us when we got home. Towards the end he was unable to walk long distances, so we would daily put him in our bike basket and ride to the coast so he could enjoy a gentle walk along the beach. We really miss him welcoming us at the door each night and being our “Little Shadow”.

The loss of both Ted and Scratchy inspired us to pursue our dream of caring for dogs.

Recently we acquired a Red Heeler Puppy called Ralph who is an extremely energetic gorgeous and lively pup. He’s keeping us on our toes – literally! And has been attending Puppy Pre-School where he can hang out and play with other puppies, he certainly isn’t shy and comes home exhausted, ready for a good nights sleep.
