We are an independent, fully insured business operating in the Adelaide Western suburbs and welcome all dogs no matter what age, breed or size – including puppies and those with special needs!

We provide reliable and trustworthy care when you cannot be there, to suit all your dog’s needs regardless of whether it's casual or long term.

A well cared for; well-exercised pet is a happy pet and at PawStar we will provide your pet with ample physical and mental stimulation whilst in our care.

We come to your home

Dogs are happier and comfortable in their own home environment which is why our service offers a reliable companion who can provide your dog(s) with playtime, walks and attention in the safety of their own familiar environment.  This service also provides owners with peace of mind and the knowledge that their dog is being well cared for - and that their property is being regularly watched.

Personalised walking packages

These are designed to complement the dog’s health and the needs of the owner and can range from one-on-one individual walks to groups walks allowing socialization. The types of walks can vary from an authorized off- leash park romp to a casual walk around the block or a stroll on the beach. A visit to the local park and can be offered once a week or daily. 

Same walker every day

We like to get to know your dog(s) – and for them to get to know us. They’ll be happier and more confident if they know and trust their minder for a day. They will have the same designated walker each time they walk together, and in the event your walker must change we’ll arrange for you and your dog to meet the new walker first.

We’ll let you know how it went

You will be left a detailed report after each walk that includes the date and time, what we did together, as well as any observations regarding the health and welfare of your dog

More pets in the family

No, we don’t look after children, though we love them too. But we can look after other members of the family such as rabbits, fish and cats, and provide pet transportation to grooming and vet appointments.

Caring for the environment

Like all responsible dog owners, we pick up after your pooch using 100% biodegradable and compostable bags. Our invoices and statements will be provided by email unless requested otherwise in order to save paper and any paper materials we use are, where possible, printed on recycled paper.

All dogs welcome

All ages and breeds are welcome – including puppies and dogs with special needs. We ask only that they are sociable and friendly, as we cannot care for aggressive dogs for safety reasons.

We’re safe

We don’t just love dogs, we know how to care for all their needs. We are police checked, undertaking pet first aid, fully insured and members of the Companion Animals Service Providers Association (CASPA).

Dog obedience

At PawStar we teach our dogs to be good. We reinforce dog obedience principles all dogs are required to sit and stay at roadsides but don’t worry we can teach the toughest personality with patience and praise.
