Dog Walking

As part of this service we offer the convenience of collecting your dog from its home and taking it for a walk on a lead around you immediate area for either 30 minutes or 1 hours.  Dog walks generally take place Monday to Friday between 8am and 5.30pm. We can schedule walks outside of these hours or on weekends upon request.

Our Walking Packages are designed to compliment your dog's health and temperament. Whether its a group walk, individual walks or a combination of both at an authorised off leash park, a trip to the beach or a casual stroll around the block.  We can personalise a walking plan that best suits the needs of you and your dog.

This service is ideal for dogs who are left at home alone due to work commitment, busy or travelling owner or those who are unable to take their dog for a walk.  It can be offered once a week, everyday or casually, it's entirely up to you.

We provide reliable, fully supervised and trustworthy care to suit all our clients needs regardless of whether it's casual or long term. A well cared for, well-exercised pet is a happy pet and at PawStar Pet Care we aim is to provide your dog (s) with ample physical and mental stimulation whilst in our care.  Dogs loves new sights, sounds and smells away from their backyard surrounds so our walks will be enjoyable, harmonious and customised.

All Dogs Welcome

All ages and breeds welcome – including Puppies and dogs with special needs! It is recommended that your dog is properly identified, has had a current C5 vaccination certificate and is social and friendly. 

The walk includes:

• collection from home,
• treats, fresh water,
• clean up after dog on walk,
• chance for your dog to explore, socialise, exercise and burn off some excess Energy! 
• You will also receive:
• "A Day in the Life of My Dog" Activity Report after each walk so that you know we have been and what we did 
• An SMS text message to say that your dog is home safe and sound.

Choose from:

One on One Dog Walks:

½ hour to 1 hour sessions, on a lead at a pace that suites your dog i.e. gentle, moderate or power walks. Longer walks can be arranged upon request.  Our walking service is mainly around your suburb, but on certain occasions, we may choose to transport your dog (upon your permission) to a dog friendly location such as an off leash park or the beach for a change of scenery.

These sessions are ideal for dogs that love individual attention, human company and may need to burn off excess energy.  Note: Dogs will be kept on the lead unless we are comfortable in taking them off and have your prior written approval.

Small Group Dog Walks/Outings

1 hour duration (excluding pick up & drop off) (max. 4 dogs)

This service includes a one hour group walk and is great for dogs that enjoy the company of others. We come to your house, pick up and transport your dog to a park or the beach for a walk, playtime (i.e. chase the ball, or frisbee), exercise and the opportunity to socialise with other dogs.   All dogs are assessed for suitability and can be introduced over a short period of time.
All dogs participating in group walks are required to have a current C5 vaccination (certificate), worming and flea treatment for the protection of each dog in the group.
